This video is of my Skydiving adventure back in 2022, this was my first solo trip that was non work related, and let’s just say it was this trip that ended my career as I know it.
I have spent half my life championing for reggae music and the culture, as it got harder to push the madness being shopped as music, harder trying to enjoy what I once loved.
I found the happiness of my life’s work draining out of me, so, what do you do in this situation?
You plan a getaway to somewhere you’ve never been to a place where nobody knows you.
Being unknown is a key ingredient to getting out of your comfort zone if you find it hard, strangers don’t care. Truth be told most humans don’t either… But it’s easier to feel free around strangers for people like me, it also forces you to face the truth of who you are. Skydiving on this trip, feeling the freedom close to that of a soaring eagle, releasing the fear, embracing the uncertainty. The moment my feet touched the ground I knew nothing would be the same for me again. How could I go back to doing the same things after feeling that energy?
I couldn’t.
So here I am still exploring Africa and its beauty, leaving radio and tv in my not-so-distant past, welcoming this new future of travel and inviting you to join in.
