2023 is a year felt around the world, but not in a good way. High living costs, low wages, a world becoming lonelier the easier it becomes to access each other. It was also the year I decided to find my own path towards peace, stepping away from the familiar. I embraced the privilege of becoming a stranger in new places with fresh faces, tucking away my mixer for infinite time. The solitude allowed introspection – am I perceived the same way? Do I like the reflection I see? What changes do I crave, and do I possess the courage to enact them?
Solo Travel, I discovered, is an odyssey of self discovery.It’s not about escaping, but about confronting the true essence of your identity. For me, even with the trails and tribulations it became an affirming journey. Stripping away the external noise, i found the core of my being – playful, fun, determined, unique, and free-spirited. The traveler in me , now focused on curating experiences for like minds and travelers.
